WANT TO BE A VOLUNTEER!?

Volunteer Duties

NOTE: You can volunteer for a shift, multiple shifts, or ALL DAY as follows …

Key areas will be staffed by veteran volunteers/bartenders first, for obvious reasons …

Groups are WELCOME - especially for Load In/Clean Up …

We need phone/email for everyone …

 

*DONATIONS: We always need food/drinks for volunteers, so please hit up any sponsors you know - pizza, subs, fruits/veggies, soft drinks/gatorade/water - anything!!!

Volunteer Shifts:

●      Load In: 11am -1pm

●      Clean Up: 10-11pm;

●      Half day shifts

●      OR … ALL DAY!!!

Load In: 11am -1pm

Help vendors to their spots, unload their gear, and move their cars out of the venue as fast as possible. 

Help set up vendor tents, etc. as needed

Help keep traffic moving into and out of the venue

Once the entrance closes at 1pm, help set up the ticket tent, beer tent, ID check, ticket lines, etc. - whatever needs to get done

Set up rental tables, put out trash cans (w/liners), put up sponsor banners on stage/deck, etc.

 

Clean Up: 10-11pm

Help vendors load up their gear and pack their vehicles, as needed

Make sure everyone cleans their own spot(s)

Get all vendor vehicles and food trucks off site ASAP

Clean the parking lot and take all trash/bags to the dumpster

Break down our tents, tables, vol area/food & drinks, raffle, merchandise etc. and pack them up

Break down the alcohol bars and pack up remaining supplies

Break down all rental tables/chairs and stack them for pick up Monday morning

Collect any/all banners, signs, cones, etc.

 

Ticket Gates:

Check tickets and put on armbands.

 

Alcohol tents:

Sell Beer

Pay close attention to armbands/ID’s - 21 and up only

Avoid serving anyone who shows signs of intoxication …

NOTE: ALL tips from alcohol tents will be collected hourly and put in the safe …

 

Trash/Recycling:

2-person teams to circulate and empty trash cans, replace liners, take trash to dumpster

Also, check FREE water station/water jugs and cups - most likely on the Tito’s bar/Beer tables

AND make sure the volunteer food/drink area is clean …

NOTE: We need water/food/etc for the judges - behind Tuna Shak

Pitch in where/as needed

 

ID Check:

Set up at entrances and check ID’s, armbands for alcohol sales

3-person teams; one to check ID’s, other to put on armbands
